Talk True Foundation is building on the successful shows it organized in the last few years and plans to run the second ever Miss Nigeria Holland
This is a unique opportunity for you to meet African businesses and a one million person strong community in the Netherlands to ethno-market your products and services
This event is mainly funded through subsidies and sponsorship. Sponsorship includes covering a contestant’s expenses, donating prizes and/or cash
We will involve an African musician and Renowned African entertainers in this contest to boost attendance and exposure.

Becoming A Sponsor
We have different grades of Sponsorship:
Platinum: EURO 20,000 and above
Gold: EURO 10,000 - 19,999
Silver: EURO 5,000 - 9,999
Bronze: EURO 1,000 - 4,999
Green: Less than EURO 1,000
Sponsors will get the following:
- an exhibition booth at the venue on the day of the competition
- their logo placed on all flyers, posters and on the webpage
- additional mention during the show

- there will be more than 5000 posters placed nationwide
- an additional 2000+ flyers
- our website had more than 3000 hits in the 4 weeks preceding the competition last year.

Mission
Our mission is to improve the image, integration and acceptance of Africans in Europe as well as create business opportunities by fostering an avenue for exchange of ideas with their hosts through quality cultural meetings. The Team is made up of experienced Africans and some Europeans resident in the Netherlands
Objectives
By organising this annual show, Talk-True foundation intends to place itself in a new market hitherto untouched.
Other organisations in the same space organise similar shows for other minority groups in the Netherlands like Miss Nigeria (Talk True Foundation)
Business, cultural as well as image and confidence building opportunities are expected to emanate from this show

Opportunities
Businesses
Sponsors can use this medium to reach the 1 million person strong African (related) community as well as get introduced to African products. (See projections below).
Sponsors will have the opportunity to interact and understand this community which represents one out of every sixteen people in the Netherlands alone. This improves focused ethno-marketing activities
The Business Concept is based on the approach of bringing culturally diverse like minds together whilst improving cultural relations.
General
There is a need for events which will lead to an increase in unity and the feeling of togetherness amongst Africans abroad. Miss Africa 2002 in the Netherlands is aimed at fostering the sense of unity amongst Africans resident in the Benelux and beyond and helping them come in contact with their hosts. It also offers the indigenous communities an opportunity to experience the African culture through a medium that is known and trusted – a beauty pageant with a difference
Organise a yearly event for indigenous as well as minority groups aimed at fostering the following:
The development of new markets, products and services for businesses on both sides through increased exposure and dialogue Creation of (business) partnerships
Cultural awareness Integration and acceptance of mutual differences

Projections
Our target audiences are the Benelux based business community and their African counterparts
We will also target the African community, who mostly reside in the bigger cities, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. Therefore the first contest will be held in the randstad.
We estimate:
- a turnout of up to 1000 people at the show
- to reach a total of up to 1 million people through the local (minority) media: De Allochtonen Krant, The Voice Magazine, The African Bulletin, Radio stations, (Minority)TV stations and many others.
- another 3000-5000 website visitors and expect to reach up to 30 million Africans worldwide through satellite TV broadcasts and tabloids.
Admission will be free; this will bosst attendance amongst Africans and non-Africans alike.

Organisation Prior To The Event
We will advertise the competition on a nation-wide basis and expect a response of between 50-100 ladies.
After regional elimination rounds, 6 ladies will be shortlisted for the finals.
